Cheer your whale down the Gorge for a chance to win incredible prizes at our free, family event on June 15 supporting Boys & Girls Club�s out of school programs in Greater Victoria. The race starts at 1pm, when the little yellow rubber whales will be gathered in the waters by the Esquimalt Gorge Park just waiting for the starting horn to begin another historic race to the finish line. You can �adopt� a whale or whales by buying a raffle ticket that has a number corresponding to a number on the whale.

In addition to the race there are great activities for kids at the park including sea themed bouncies, the interactive Froggy Fly Fling, displays from the Gorge Waterway Nature House, a great concession, boat rides provided by Victoria Canoe & Kayak Club and so much more. Activities get under way at 11:30 am and wrap up at 2:30 pm.

Single Whale tickets are $5 each; Pod Packs are $20 for 5 whales (1 free); and, the Leviathan Pack of 25 whales is $100 (5 free). Tickets can be ordered on line from www.bgcvic.org or picked up from our office at 1240 Yates Street.

There are prizes for the first six whales to cross the finish line:
1st prize valued at up to $3,300: 7 day Holland America Cruise for 2 - choose from 5 cruises
2nd prize valued up to $2,800: Return flights for two for anywhere WestJet flies
3rd prize valued up to $1,000: BBQ and/or patio furniture from Canadian Tire Victoria Stores
4th prize valued at $824: Apple 64GB iPad 4 With Wi-Fi
5th prize is $500 Cash
6th prize valued at $340: Go Pro Hero 3 HD waterproof camera, tripod mount & chest harness
