WiL’s music is gaining recognition due to a string of songs including There Is, Here We Go, Look Around, Hold Me On and Roam, flagship anthem to Travel Alberta’s award winning media campaign called ‘Remember To Breathe’. His latest album ‘El Paseo’ was nominated ‘Solo Roots Album of the Year’, 2015 Western Canada Music Awards. No wonder, the ease with which WiL explores a wide spectrum of themes and styles in his song writing shows a lifetime of fearless musicianship. His tunes are catchy but not overstated- a dynamic performer who effortlessly balances out moments of gritty intensity with those so tender you swear you hear is heart beating through a microphone. As such his live shows have been coined ‘legendary’ – affording him the opportunity to share the stage with such musically diverse artists as Feist, Matt Andersen, Matthew Good, Jann Arden & Burton Cummings to name a few. Whether speaking to his masterful passionate string-breaking live performance or writing music for film, WiL is in his element – he was simply born to make music.

Cory Woodward corywoodward.com

“The Edmonton born singer-songwriter has the uncanny ability to spark connection between himself and some of the greatest musicians of all time!” boasts Exclaim! magazine about Cory Woodward. And since emerging onto the Vancouver music scene he has done nothing but prove this statement to be true. Woodward has been no stranger to songwriting and performing, from an early age the influence of his father’s musical endeavours as a prominent Aboriginal Country Music Artist, paved the way for Cory’s life in music. His most recent project Lion Bear Fox were top 20 participants in the Peak Performance Project 2013, where Woodward began sculpting his stage persona known as The Bear. At the heart of every song is a story and the Bear is as much a entertaining storyteller as he is a soulful singer. With vulnerability at the forefront, Cory ‘The Bear’ Woodward doesn’t shy away from the life he has led, battling depression and addiction has given Woodward a compassionate perspective that knows how to live in the present and believe in the never ending power of change. “Connection is the ultimate form of healing, it precedes learning. Choosing to be open with the story of your life, creates a safe ground for others to share their similar experiences highlighting that we are all equal and not alone.” shares Woodward. In 2010 Woodward released and did a nation wide tour for his full length record titled ‘The Truth’ a collection of songs that are soaked in honest lyrics, soulful performances, and a larger than life Springsteen-esque production. On the side Woodward has also started his own production company Little Bear Music co. and has produced records by Adam Briscoe, The Wild Romantics, Kellen Saip as well as the Lion Bear Fox releases. He is excited to share his first solo effort as The Bear, released in February 2015.
