What Matters in Aftermath of Crime?
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Using the perspective of those directly suffering as a result of crime, we offer the opportunity to explore what the goals of the legal system are in Canada, and what a more satisfying model of justice might look like. We will talk about some restorative approaches currently in use in Canada.
Join Meredith Egan to explore these and other questions at the Victoria Friend's Meeting House, (between Fort and Begbie St) 1831 Fern St, Victoria. Meredith Egan serves as Programme Coordinator for Quakers Fostering Justice of Canadian Friends' Service Committee. Meredith works in prisons, schools and community settings, is an experienced victim-offender mediator and circle-keeper and trains others in these restorative practices.
