Western Edge Theatre: Scriptwriting Workshop
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Western Edge’s popular scriptwriting workshop is back!
Work on a script for stage, screen, television, or the web, as part of a supportive community of writers led by internationally-produced writer (and VIU Creative Writing instructor) Frank Moher.
The workshop will use a combination of “real-life” meetings (held at Vancouver Island University’s Nanaimo campus) and online work (using a private website specially created for workshop members). You don’t need any special software — just access, at least once-a-week, to a computer connected to the internet.
Whether you’re a beginner or a more seasoned author (or the Bard himself, stepping through a time portal), you’re welcome to sign on! Learn (or review) the basics of scriptwriting — then work on your own script, with ongoing input from Frank and your workshop colleagues.
Starts October 28th and continues for 10 weeks (with a holiday break built in). Fee: $250 (payable in two installments).
