Nanaimo’s Western Edge Theatre opens its 2019-20 Season with a true-life Vancouver Island story, "Our Ghosts" by Sally Stubbs. “'Our Ghosts' is a drama inspired by the true story of the mysterious disappearance of my father and his co-pilot on a routine flight from the Comox Air Base on March 22, 1956,” writes the playwright. At once a taut investigative tale and a moving love story, "Our Ghosts" chronicles, in fictionalized form, her mother’s tenacity in seeking answers to what happened, and the effects of that quest upon their family. Leaping across decades and filled with loving family humour, this compelling play is as dynamic as it is deeply human.

“Promises do not expire with the passage of time,” says Moira, the remarkable character at its heart. "Our Ghosts" will also linger in your memory.
