Brianne loves her teaching and dancing life! She has been line dancing for 18 years and is a Top 3 World Champion with experience in all genres of dance. Brianne currently teaches line dance and West Coast Swing at Sara Raymond Dance Academy on Sundays.
The first Beginner Class on Feb 19th will be followed by a 2-hour social dance / practice.

Intermediate Technique Class taught by Kaitlyn, 5 90-minute sessions from February 26th to March 26th, session fee $90 Skills workshop for intermediate dancers. Kaitlyn will use a different pattern each night to focus on various aspects of technique to increase enjoyment of dancing. Prerequisites: must be comfortable with 8-count patterns including whips.

Kaitlyn:

"In 2004, my friend said “I’m going swing dancing” and I said “not without me!” … the rest is history!

After a stint in lindy, salsa, and blues, I found a sense of home in West Coast Swing about 13 years ago. I’ve been so fortunate as a dance learner, getting to work with some of the best coaches in the world, take lessons across North America, and dive deep into the technical nuance of this dance.

As a teacher, I love supporting learners to find freedom of movement and expression on their side of the partnership (regardless of how much experience they have on the dance floor). I know that at its best, dance can help us become more connected and interconnected, draw from a wider range of options, and feel more at home in ourselves and the world.

I teach using degendered language and love to welcome folks from a broad range of identities to the dance floor."
