Weaving our Stories: Sash Storytelling of the Métis with Connie Kulhavy September 13, 6 - 9 pm $45 Members | $50 Non-Members Registration required
The sash is one of the most recognized symbols within the Métis Nation. Join local Métis artist Connie Kulhavy and learn how the use of color and materials tell the rich stories and history of the Métis Nation. Inspired by this expressive tradition, we will finger-weave our own story into a mini-sash using wool, beads, and sticks. No experience is necessary for this evening of weaving beautiful connections between community, art, and culture.
