Lisa Szeker-Madden, recorder player with Wind on the Waves, is re-locating to Ontario to start Wind on the Waves: East. Join Lisa and Lillian Slanina (Celtic Harp and Lyric Mezzo-Soprano), with special guest, Louise Eldridge, piano, as the three dear friends present a fun-filled, eclectic evening of Classical, Celtic, Baroque, folk, Broadway, and original compositions. It will be an informal affair for the whole family to enjoy, filled with some music everyone will know, some lesser known gems, a few, moving original works, and entertaining stories about the pieces. There will also be some finger fireworks, courtesy of Lisa. Prepare to be delighted and amazed. A reception featuring finger foods, coffee, tea, and juices will follow the concert. Admission by Donation, with partial proceeds to the Centres for Spiritual Living, Victoria. It is not so much 'farewell,' as 'till we meet again!'
