2 Saturdays February 15 & 22: 10am � 4pm
This 2 day workshop is held in conjunction with the exhibit Chronicles of Form and Place: Takao Tanabe. Beginning with a tour of the exhibit, we will discuss the works and the various techniques Tanabe employs in his watercolour paintings. Learn all about washes: wet washes, graded washes, flat dry washes, streaked washes and textured washes. Glazing and colour mixing will be discussed, and you will learn which colours allow you to create transparent glazes. Working on your own series of small watercolours, you will learn many tips for painting water, skies and landscapes.

$160 plus GST: all supplies included.
