Join David Pink of Warmland Irrigation and Nora Arajs of Ceres Edible Landscaping for a workshop on water-saving ideas for your garden.
The summer of 2015 saw extreme drought in our region and drier summers are predicted to be the new normal. In this workshop you’ll learn how to set-up a DIY micro-irrigation system, what plants require less water, and planting strategies that lessen the draw on our water resources.
The workshop will be held at Cowichan Green Community’s (CGC) meeting room located at 360 Duncan Street, Duncan.
Pre-registration is required. To register, stop by The Garden Pantry Store (360 Duncan Street). Payments can be made by cash, cheque, VISA, MC, or Debit.
Cost: $20 for non-members and $15 for CGC members.
For more information, please contact Nora Arajs at 250-748-8506 or [email protected] .
