Victoria BC Ska Society in partnership with Pepperpot is proud to finally bring Warrior King to the Island. Warrior King is a 'breath of fresh air' in the world of Jamaica's rich reggae roots world. Independent and VP Recording Artist Warrior King is not merely an entertainer, but an artist with a mission.

This show will commemorate Robert Nesta Marley's 69th Jubilee and Pepperpot's 13th Anniversary.

Born Mark Dyer aka WARRIOR KING has musical purpose with poignant and heartfelt turns of phrase reminiscent of his mentor Bob Marley "words are like spiritual food, music is like medicine for the soul" he states.

The student of Human Rights and African Culture states his career as a hard edged deejay who gained comparisons to his early influence, Bounti Killer even taking the name Bounti Junior for a while until he realized that singing was more suitable to expressing his feelings and message.

Growing up, his Mother emphasized the importance of a strong foundation and the natural oneness of the African family. This lesson stayed with him and shapes his songwriting to this day ensuring that Warrior King will always exemplify spirituality in music.

Warrior King has released several albums and hit songs on VP Records and through his own channels including "Virtuous Woman" (2001), "Hold Da Faith" (2005), "My Life" (2005), "Can't Get Me Down" (2005), "Wanna Give You Love" (2009) "Tell me how me Sound" (2011)
