Join the Freedom Gospel Choir for their 4th annual spring concert. Featured will be a new song written by accompanist Tanya Gillespie for the choir.
The choir will be singing familiar tunes such as Oh Happy Day, Go Like Elijah, Down To The River to Pray, His Eye Is On The Sparrow, Gabi, Gabi, Alshlo Sha and more.
Also joining them will be soloist Shalema Gantt founder of the Nanaimo African Heritage Society. It promises to be an entertaining concert as the choir takes you on a journey through the history of Spirituals and gospel songs.
