United Now is a dynamic group of people aged 20 - 30 from the United Way of Greater Victoria who promote awareness, engagement, and leadership among young people in the region. The group formed 18 months ago, and already they are making an impact in our community!
Last year, United Now hosted their first ever time raising event Volunteering with Benefits and this sold-out event raised over 290 volunteer hours for local not-for-profit agencies. This event was created to bring awareness and understanding to local young people about the root causes of social issues that affect our community.
This year�s Volunteering with Benefits will be held in collaboration with Volunteer Victoria during national Volunteer Week, April 10 - 16, 2011.
Ticket price includes auction, appies, guest speakers and door prizes.
