VIU Theatre Department presents "We Too"

This show was originally developed and performed at the Malaspina Theatre by the Theatre Department in 1982.

The �We Too� was a tug which worked in the Nanaimo harbour and was also a miner�s newspaper publication. The show is based on many hours of recordings of coal miners who worked in the area. Much of this material is found in Lynne Bowen�s book "Boss Whistle."

Stories from Extension, Ladysmith, and the Cumberland area from 1909 and 1936 are presented.

Ross Desprez will direct this updated and reworked revival of "We Too" 28 years after the original Malaspina College production.
