VIU�s Child and Youth Care Social Justice Club is hosting a fundraising banquet which will include a meal, entertainment, and an entry to win a door prize. The banquet will raise money for the Kids International Development Society (KIDS) to help provide children and families in Cambodia with bikes and lights.
The Social Justice Club chose the KIDS organization for the remarkable work they do with children and youth of all ages, helping them in achieving goals, as well as providing them with basic needs. A focus for the Social Justice Club is fundraising for bikes and lights because the KIDS organization has identified these as two essential resources that really make a difference in people�s everyday lives.
