Words have sounds, shapes, pitch, and are sculpting images in our heads regardless of their meaning. The course will explore the images behind the words. Participants, including those familiar with languages other than English, are asked to bring nursery rhymes and other poems, riddles, tongue twisters and songs in any language to share. In the last class there will be a performance for friends, family, and other members of the public.
