If you’re a VIU student from any program, or a VIU alumni, you can learn more about the VIU Business Plan Competition and meet one of 10 volunteer business mentors who can provide you with guidance and advice one-on-one.

Join us for this mentor meet-up event and info session covering: • Overview of the VIU Business Plan Competition • How to apply • How to use the business plan concept template available to all entrants • What to expect at the Dragon’s-Den-style ‘Pitchfest’ on Dec. 4 • Mentor and networking events coming up Volunteer mentors can help VIU Business Plan Competition entrants gain valuable skills in strategic planning, project management, critical thinking, professional presentations, and community engagement.

If you’re thinking of entering the competition, there is still time to meet the November 16 deadline! If you have a great idea for a new business, enter the VIU Business Plan Competition to gain valuable entrepreneurial experience, and a chance to win a share in $10,000 in cash prizes and $7,000 in business services.
