All over the Cowichan Valley you can find artists in their studios producing superlative work. Just pick up a map/brochure for Visions Art Studio Tour and make a weekend of it July 6, 7 and 8 on this self-guided free tour of 22 studios featuring
25 artists and artisans.
Brochures are available at businesses from Mill Bay to Crofton and can be downloaded from www.visionsarttour.ca
Artists on the tour are painters Sue Coleman, Joane Moran, Roger Jackson, Donna Birtwistle, Bev Robertson, Carolyn McDonald, Susan Collicott, Catherine Fraser, Catherine Taron and Christopher French; photographers Neil Fatin, Nathalie Mansey and Brigette Furlonger; jewellery and ornament designers Connie Hagel, Lynn Williams, Karen Bottcher, Michele Heath, Joanne Kimm, Rosemary Danaher and Rene Deerheart; glass blower Tyler Hayes and glass and fabric painter Terry Harrison; potter Lyndsay Hunley, collage assembler Wilma Millette and wood turner Ken Broadland.
