Virtues: The Heart of Parenting
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Linking diverse cultures and faith traditions, virtues such as generosity, honesty, kindness and patience reflect humanity at our best. Parenting with a focus on virtues provides a language to inspire, to cultivate excellence, and to help children become champions of positive social change. At the same time, like any tool, virtues can also be used in a negative way when a lack of awareness exists.
This interactive presentation explores the benefits of a virtues focus in parenting; considers parenting approaches from a virtues lens; and encourages participants to consider practical ways to integrate a virtues’ focus into their own parenting and personal lives.
