Saturday, June 14th. Picnic. 11:00AM-3:00PM

Bowen Park Lower Picnic Shelter (off Wall St.) 11AM-3PM.
A fun, all-ages family-friendly event. The Weenie Queen will be barbecuing up the hot dogs, and we�ll have pop and water, watermelon, and cookies courtesy of Thrifty Foods, and Tim Horton�s coffee. The picnic shelter is adjacent to a small playground. We�ll have the annual duck race on the river with prizes, and some other fun activities. Bring your drums, guitars, dogs, and your family, and come out to the park. We�ll have at least one vendor, and other interested vendors should contact E.T. at [email protected]



Monday, June 16th. Pride Flag-raising at City Hall. 6:00PM

6pm at City Hall.
We gather to raise the rainbow flag which will fly over City Hall for the week. We usually have some City Council and other dignitaries in attendance to show support for the LGBT community. Then we march a couple of blocks to Bocca Caf�, 427 Fitzwilliam for coffee, tea and cupcakes, and good conversation.



Thursday, June 19th. Softball game at Mansfield Park. 7:00PM-9:00PM.

800 St. Andrews St.
Bring your own glove, and batting helmet if you have one. This will be a fun summer-evening activity that is family-friendly. All skill level welcome. We also hope to have a vendor with refreshments.



Saturday, June 21st. Pride Dance. 8:30PM-1:00AM

Pleasant Valley Hall, 6100 Doumont in the north end.
Our premiere event! This year � The Prom You Never Had.
Color theme is black and pink. Dress in your best prom gear or come casual. DJ Teresa will keep the dance music rolling all night, and there will be a brief entertainment segment. J A Johns Photography will be there to take your memory photos. Snack food, Pride cake and door prizes. Pop and water ($1) and no-host bar (all drinks $5). 19+. Admission is $15 by reservation.
