The Port Theatre’s OFFstage Lobby Theatre Series, presented in partnership with TheatreOne and Nanaimo Fringe, is a captivating collection of bold and provocative performances held in The Port Theatre lobby. Each evening includes complimentary pre-show treats in our lobby thanks to The Vault Café at 7pm. After the performance stay for post-show chats with the artists.

When Charlie, a 20-something social media consultant, spots a sign posted to a nearby telephone pole which reads “Would you like a chance to disappear,” she is transported into the depths of a hive-shaped Village. This vulnerable, angsty and passionate piece performed by Vancouver-based powerhouse Sydney Hayduk, "hits the sweet spot between stinging social commentary and whimsical storytelling” (Winnipeg Free Press)
