The VIKIZFEST Weekender Series brings everything for an avid Kizomba community right to Vancouver Island!

The February Weekender features: 9 hours of workshop instruction, Private Lessons (by reservation only), Musical Performances, and After Party, Door Prizes and Raffles, a formal Gala Night...and of course, HOURS of SOCIAL DANCING!!!

For the February 2018 Weekender, VIKIZFEST is thrilled to present Audi MPK and Pamela from Texas! Their world-class Kizomba workshops are an all-encompassing experience, with 3 sessions per day building cumulatively upon each other and taught as a complete Unit of learning.

Saturday Unit Learning Plan:Urban Kizomba Techniques concentrating on Leading & Following. Content will include:

•body control, balance, weight transfer

•Timing:slow motion & syncopation

•Musicality

Sunday Unit Learning Plan: Tarraxo & Musicality. Content will include:

•Tarraxinha movements

•Tarraxo & subtle accents

•Musicality & more
