Want to meet notorious characters, hear tales of murder, witness the punishment meted out to miscreants, and maybe even experience a ghost for yourself? Well, the Maritime Museum of BC has just the ticket for an evening of mystery in Bastion Square. You’re invited to join our town gossip in period attire as she walks around Bastion Square. She will guide you through Bastion Square where you get a taste of Victoria’s rich history along with some of Bastions Square’s best kept ghost stories. Our town gossip will recount blood curdling tales from those who lived, loved and died in Bastion Square. The highlight of this ‘walkabout’ will be an opportunity to explore the historic Supreme Court chamber and witness how justice was delivered in early Victoria.

Tours will leave the Maritime Museum of BC (28 Bastion Square) at 8pm and the tour is expected to run about an hour, payment and bookings are to be made at the door the night of the tour. payment and bookings can be made in advance or at the door. This tour does contain sensitive themes, and we ask that a parent or guardian is present with all children under the age of 16.
