When Yannick Nézet-Séguin first came to conduct the Victoria Symphony in 2001, he was a recent university graduate beginning his professional career. Since then, Nézet-Séguin has become a world-renowned conductor and has gone on to conduct the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, lead operas at the Metropolitan Opera, and been the Music Director of four orchestras in North America and Europe including one of the world’s greatest, the Philadelphia Orchestra. Nézet-Séguin returns to lead Bruckner’s magnificent Symphony No. 4 “Romantic.”
