Victoria Symphony presents: Our Canada

Celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday with a concert exploring our country’s rich literary community and connection to music. Curated by acclaimed novelist Jack Hodgins, this concert features poet Patrick Lane, playwright Joan MacLeod, writers Matt Rader and Rachel Wyatt and musician/composer Veda Hille sharing their work describing their connection to this great country. Paul Frehner’s premiere written for Canada’s birthday, and Tobin Stoke’s Pauline, written for aboriginal writer and poet Pauline Johnson, are also on the programme.
