Karl Stobbe, one of Canada’s most accomplished and diverse violinists, leads this remarkable concert, playing both Haydn’s first violin concerto and Mozart’s charming Violin Concerto No. 5 “Turkish”. The afternoon concludes with Haydn’s “Farewell” symphony – a fitting end to our celebration of Haydn.
