While Haydn taught many musicians, his most famous was a young man named Ludwig van Beethoven. Hear “the Father of the Symphony’s” influence in Beethoven’s humourous and happy Symphony No. 2, one of the final works of his early period. Tania Miller also welcomes favourite VS guest artist Lorraine Min to play Mozart’s grand Piano Concerto No. 25.
