Victoria Symphony presents: 75th Legacy Tour

The VS’s first ever cross-Canada tour ends at home with this tour-de-force concert. The first half of the concert features a premiere of a new work by composer Michael Oesterle, and Canadian pianist Stewart Goodyear, returning from his triumphant performance in last season’s Signature Series to play Grieg’s Piano Concerto. The second half features two works that show off the versatility and virtuosity of the Victoria Symphony: Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.
