Siberian-born Pavel Kolesnikov studied both the piano and violin for ten years, before concentrating solely on the piano. As a student, this London-based pianist studied at the Moscow State Conservatory with Sergei Dorensky, at London’s Royal College of Music with Norma Fisher and at Brussels’ Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel with Maria João Pires. In 2016, Pavel concentrated his concerts in Canada, performing with the Toronto Symphony and Calgary Philharmonic and made appearances at London’s Wigmore Hall.
