"Latin Voyage" an extraordinary musical journey through songs and melodies of Spain & Latin America performed by soprano Marie-Jos�e Lord, guitarist David Jaques, Ian Simpson Double Bass.
The trio travels from Quebec to perform music of Rodrigo, Granados and de Falla, arranged especially for this trio by guitarist David Jacques. The program includes Heitor Villa-Lobos' haunting Bachianas Brasilieras #5.
This is a return appearance, after soprano Lord dazzled the 2010 at the Victoria Summer Music Festival audience with her performance then.
Preceded by a pre-concert talk at 6:40 p.m.
