Wednesday, September 18th, 2013
12:00 PM to 1:30 PM

This allows for sharing of knowledge, strategies, lessons-learned, and practical tips, tools, and techniques. Participants are encouraged to actively engage in the discussion, ask questions, and provide real scenarios. A variety of formats will be used depending on the topic and the facilitator (i.e. group discussions, case studies etc.).

Mentorship is a powerful personal development and empowerment tool for people and the organizations they work for. Join us in a conversation about what mentorship really is, the benefit of having mentorship opportunities in your organization, and strategies to make mentorship successful. We will also provide information about the BC HRMA Mentorship Program and hear from some recent mentors and protges about their experience and benefits they've realized from participating in the program.

Please join Deborah Lang, CHRP (and Pamela MacIntosh-Snell our regular leader) as she leads you through this roundtable. Deborah sits on the Advisory Council for BC HRMA as Lead of the Mentoring Portfolio and brings years of experience. Deborah holds a BA (UVic) and MBA in Executive Leadership (RRU), a Certificate in Conflict Resolution (JIBC) and is an accredited facilitator in Emotional Intelligence (BarOn EQ-i) and Insights Discovery.

The following partners will be participating to discuss their experiences and answer any questions you may have.

Michelle Loveless (nee Rowsell)
Nathalie Labrie, CHRP
