This concert, with soloists and orchestra, pairs two brilliant musical minds of the classical period. Filled with anger, grief and quiet beauty, Mozart’s Requiem is among the last works of a young composer who knew he had little time left. Joseph Haydn’s Theresa Mass sparkles with exuberant singing and trumpet fanfares.
