Plants are fascinating; fungi are fascinating. But for sheer entertainment value, it’s difficult to beat plants plus fungi! Fungi have been associated with plants since the earliest plants colonized land, and are requisite partners of almost all of our familiar Pacific Northwest plants. Join Andy MacKinnon, forest ecologist and co-author of the well-known book series, Plants of British Columbia, in this exploration of the fruitful union of two of his favorite Kingdoms.
