Plants and people in Nicaragua
Between 2005-2008, Hannah Roessler had a wonderful opportunity to live and work in Nicaragua, where she spent most of her time living on a permaculture farm, and working in a nearby village on projects related to food and medicine plants. She will share with us ethnobotanical stories of people and plants of the area, and how the experience opened her mind to the varied and often complex ways people learn about and “know” plants. She will also show photos of the various food and medicine plants on the permaculture farm.
