Join us to celebrate Victoria's Labyrinth Friendship Day. You can participate in these following events: Cadboro Bay 2 – 4 pm – Cadboro Bay United Church – Open House - 2625 Arbutus Street The CBUC labyrinth is a thing of beauty: a bold circular design embedded in the rich original wood flooring of the Hall.
The Labyrinth at Cadboro Bay United Church is based on the medieval 11 path design. The most famous of these Labyrinths still remaining is located at the site of a medieval Wisdom School at the Chartes Cathedral near Paris. It was built around 1200 CE.
A labyrinth follows a singular path designed to induce calmness, contemplation and clarity. On September 16th, come take a walk on the quiet side between 2-4pm at CBUC’s indoor labyrinth.
