About Susanna
Many still remember when Norwegian vocalist Susanna Wallumr�d made her JazzFest debut in 2010 as part of the magical duo known as the Magical Orchestra. That part of her musical life is now behind her, and Susanna has branched out on her own, complete with her own record label and a brand new CD, Wild Dog. In performance, she draws on an extensive and eclectic repertoire that ranges from exotic cover versions of famous pop songs to her own originals. In company with guitarist Helge Sten and drummer-vocalist Fredrik Wallumr�d, Susanna forges a unique combination of pop music, electronica, and jazz improvisation; the resulting soundscapes are gorgeous, sophisticated, and compellingly lyrical. www.susannamagical.com/
