About Lady

Achingly sweet yet equally powerful, the voice of Nicole Wray � a.k.a. Lady � is one of the touchstones of contemporary pop and club music. Discovered at age 17 by Missy Elliot, Lady�s first-ever single, �Make it Hot,� went gold. After more collaborations with Missy, Cam�ron, Kid Cudi, and the Black Keys, Lady had begun to transform from a teenager to a musically sophisticated performer and songwriter. Now in her mid 20s, Lady has just recorded Lady, a dance-friendly combination of a Memphis-style soul groove with hip-hop beats and the slinky rhythms of modern R&B. Touring widely in support of her new CD, Lady has become a powerful neosoul vocal sensation.
