Victoria JazzFest presents Jill Barber, plus the Eric St-Laurent Trio, at the First Metropolitan United Church on June 25.

About Jill Barber
With her retro flair, sultry vibrato, and on-stage charm, Jill Barber is an authentic jazz chanteuse. What makes her even more delightful is her sly musical sensibility that is expressed in deft and original musical arrangements. Her 2008 CD Chances was the breakthrough: aside from earning her two Juno nominations, its lush orchestral arrangements and savvy songwriting brought her to a wider audience. Last year she recorded the charming, all-in-French Chansons, and fans can expect a new journey into the realm of elegance, romance, and glamour when she releases her sixth CD this spring. Jill made her JazzFest debut in 2012, and we�re thrilled to have this great singer back.
