Victoria JazzFest presents David Virelles Continuum at Hermann's Jazz Club on June 25.
Often referred to as "The Marvel", Cuban born David Virelles was discovered by Jane Bunnett and brought to Canada at age 16.
A gifted pianist and composer, the first recipient of the Oscar Peterson Prize, (etc). Virelles electrifying pianistics and compositional imagination have made him a first call musician of New York. www.davidvirelles.com
