The Victoria Horticultural Society is hosting a Zoom meeting on February 7, 2023, from 7:00-8:30 pm. Our speaker is Nancy Turner, who will speak about "Wild Cultivation: Traditional Plant Management Systems of Northwestern North America." Nancy Turner is a Distinguished Professor Emerita in Environmental Studies, University of Victoria. She is an ethnobotanist who has worked with Indigenous elders and cultural specialists in western Canada for over 50 years, learning about traditional knowledge of plants and environments. Only $5:00 for non-members!
