Eileen Bancroft will lead a workshop at 6:30 pm on how to band trees to protect them from Winter moths. Our main speaker at 8:00 pm is Kem Luther, a naturalist and writer. His books include "Boundary Layer: Exploring the Genius between Worlds" and "Mushrooms of BC" (with Andy MacKinnon) His topic is “Boss Mosses of the Pacific Northwest,” focussing on moss landscapes in southern Vancouver Island, their role in our ecosystem, and moss gardening. Only $5:00 at the door for non-members!
