Victoria Folk Music Society presents The Dream A Littles

Truth be told, the Dream-a-Littles dream a lot. Beth Woodland (on lead vocals and piano) dreams about landscapes fashioned out of sound. Joe Hatherill (on alto sax, clarinet, and flute) dreams about what kind of solo he will contribute to each tune. Dave Klassen (on vocals and double bass) dreams about the early history of jazz.
Tonight the Dream-a-Littles share their interpretation of a classic, secular Christmas repertoire. There will be lyrics to be sung (from song-sheet handouts), bells to be rung, and tunes to be swung. However you choose to participate, Beth, Joe, and Dave�a dream-team of holiday minstrels�invite you to come and revel in the festive ambience their music creates.

Our feature act will be preceded by what is arguably Victoria�s best weekly acoustic Open Stage session where musicians from fledglings to professionals can perform a 10 minute set for one of the most welcoming, attentive and participative audiences in town. Aspiring Open Stage performers can sign-up with the VFMS Host between 7:00 and 7:30pm to do a set but should get there early to improve their chances of getting on the evening�s line-up.
