The Victoria Bluegrass Association is excited to have the Clover Point Drifters, Victoria's favourite bluegrass band, back on stage as our November feature act.
Taking their name from a magnificent point of land that overlooks the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the Clover Point Drifters have been playing together since January 2000, with each of the members having a decades-long love affair with bluegrass music. Their repertoire consists primarily of traditional bluegrass songs, with a sprinkling of country, folk, blues and pop melodies served up in the bluegrass style. Their songs feature the kind of heartfelt, high lonesome harmonies and strong banjo, dobro and mandolin accompaniment that makes old-time bluegrass music so compelling. Featuring Alan Law (guitar),Dan Parker (mandolin), Larry Stevens (dobro),Mike Kraft (banjo), George Robinson (bass)
Doors open: 7:30 pm
