The Art and Craft of the Trio Sonata Sensuality, playfulness, joy and energy burst forth in a feast of counterpoint that manifests the workings of Bach’s beautiful mind. The unique collection of trio sonatas for organ BWV 525-530 is largely Bach’s reworking of some of his favourite instrumental compositions.
Victoria Baroque performs a selection of these sublime sonatas re-transcribed for varied combinations of instruments, paired with delightful trio sonatas by Handel.
