Vancouver Island Baseball Institute kicks off our 2014 home season with an Opening Day doubleheader vs. Thompson Rivers University.

VIBI competes in the Canadian College Baseball Conference. With teams based in BC and Alberta, the CCBC is Canada's premier college baseball conference. VIBI's roster includes players from across Vancouver Island, BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

March 30th is Nanaimo Minor Baseball Association Day. All NMBA teams and players are invited to attend and get a look at baseball at 'the next level'. Following the second game of the doubleheader, NMBA teams and players will be invited onto the field to meet the VIBI players, and will hear a speech from the VIBI coaching staff, Head Coach Jordan Blundell, and Assistant Coach Nick Salahub.

Admission is just $2, and fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food product for donation to the Nanaimo Community Food Bank.

Playing at Serauxmen Stadium, near the campus of Vancouver Island University, VIBI Baseball offers an exciting weekend family entertainment option for families and students alike!
