On December 5th 2013, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, the University of Victoria Business Law Clinic would like to invite you to a presentation about capital raising for small businesses. The presentation, made in partnership with the B.C. Securities commission, outlines the legal implications of different methods of raising capital, and identifies key exceptions that allow small businesses to solicit capital without exposure to onerous and expensive disclosure obligations.

The Business Law Clinic is a free legal information service provided by upper-year law students at the University of Victoria. This service is available to a wide range of business owners, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations that operate within British Columbia.
