Vancouver Island Compassion Dogs Society is hosting a Christmas Gala. This is our second fundraiser for our Veterans and their dogs. Great food,lots of dancing, good rock music and a quality silent auction and no host bar. VICD matches veterans with a diagnosis of PTSD with rescue dogs and trains them together to develop a safe and competent team capable of public access. The teams are assessed and tested by BC Guide Dogs to achieve service dog status.
