Vancouver Island Juried One Act Play Festival

The Vancouver Island Juried One Act Play Festival returns to the Village Theatre in Qualicum Beach for its fifteenth year in a row. Featuring short, one act plays presented by a variety of theatre groups from Victoria, Courtenay and Oceaside communities including several youth productions from Nanaimo District Secondary, ECHO Players Youth Theatre and Kwalikum Secondary School. Audiences will experience two different plays each night!
Adjudicating the festival this year is Dean Chadwick and Rob Mowbray, two names well known to Vancouver Island theatre audiences. They will provide a brief public critique after each performance. Awards will be presented after the final show on November 10th.
