St. Mark's Anglican Church presents The Vancouver Island Chamber Choir, Victoria-area singers dedicated to performing choral music from a variety of musical periods and styles from around the world. Founded in 2008, the choir was initially composed primarily of UVic Chamber Singers Alumni who wanted to continue singing in a fun environment with a high level of musicianship.
Over the years the VICC has grown to a group of around 24 seasoned choral singers, many of them music teachers and/or multi-instrumental musicians.
The Vancouver Island Chamber Choir is directed by Brian Tate, well-known in Canada and internationally as an award-winning composer, arranger, and conductor.
