A bit about VIAF:
Debuted in Victoria, summer of 2011, as a not for profit community event aiming to celebrate all forms of art on Vancouver Island and bring a variety of Artists together with different backgrounds, talent and experience. Featuring live bands and DJs, dancers, a full vendor market of artists from all over Vancouver Island, walking art/body painting, food and beverage vendors, beer garden, live painting demos, art gallery , kids zone & more!

Last year we expanded from one day, and introduced a fundraiser and awareness campaign for Surfrider Van Island � This festival not only gives Artists the opportunity to give back to community members who have supported them in the past, but also to the environment that has supplied us with endless inspiration!

Vancouver Island ArtistFest is moving to the Sooke River Campground this year, and we couldn�t be happier � a peaceful river setting that will leave everyone who attends feeling inspired by not only the wonderful art, but the natural beauty as well.
